Jace is 8!

My favorite "big guy" had his 8th birthday on September 23rd.

Jace's most recent obsession is Star Wars, and although he has yet to see ANY of the movies, he lives and breathes all things Star Wars :)  So of course, this became the theme of this year's party. 

These are "light sabers" that the kids made out of foam insulators and duck tape and took home as party favors.  They provided quite a lot of entertainment.  The boys chased each other around for an hour whacking each other :)  We did end up having to make a "no hitting in the face" rule though, because although they were soft, it still stung pretty good if you took one on bare skin.

ALL of Jace's presents were LEGOS and only one of them wasn't a Star Wars set.  Apparently his friends know what he likes.  Check out the little boy in the red, he was cracking me up!

This was a pretty fun cake.  The light sabers even lit up.

Hard to believe Jace is 8.  He is such a good kid, I don't think I could be more proud of him :)
